Stories From The Farm

As you know, we’ve got goats! Last July 6th we brought home four Kiko does. Shortly after that we added three Nigerian Dwarfs, and right after that, Chris decided we needed to add some Purebred Kiko does to the herd.

Chris and I found ourselves at the National Kiko Registration’s goat conference a couple of weeks ago. We drove eight hours to Cookeville, TN for said conference.

Rabbits, this is a very controversial topic, and I tend to avoid mentioning that we raise meat rabbits. But we do.

If you've read my first ever blog, you know how our farm started. But we weren't exactly a "farm" yet.

So about a month or two ago, I wrote an introductory article about Fluffy Butt Farms BC, and then promptly ran out of things to say. Figures.

Like so many people all over America, we wanted to move away from the big city and grow/raise our own food. Wait, that isn't everyone's dream? Well it wasn't exactly ours either.
